I’m Kristin Wisnewski, owner and farmer-florist at Walnut Hill Flower Farm in West Chester, PA. At our farm, we grow beautiful cut flowers from seed in a small basement grow room, and then transplant them into our open flower field. We grow specialty cut flowers—not just wildflowers. While wildflowers are beautiful in a meadow, our cultivated blooms are bred specifically for the vase. We have no hoop houses or greenhouses, so our flowers are truly seasonal, blooming from May through October.
These are not your grocery store flowers! Our flowers will take you back to your grandmother’s cutting garden, where seeds were lovingly sown by hand, and freshly cut flowers welcomed guests, brightened a table, and delighted the senses.
